Berlandiera Lyrata

It started to rain so I came in to wright about my new addition to the rock garden Berlandiera lyrata -Chocolate daisy
It is a small plant , about 15 in.Nice yellow daises are open early morning and smell like cocoa and vanilla . After temperature rises yellow petals fall to ground leaving behind green center which look like perfect green daisy.
I planted Chocolate daisy in very well drained , sandy soil and full sun .So far I didn’t water it I just enjoyed it.I will be planting many more next year .The rain stoped ,we got all together 5 minutes .I have to go and water again.
