For those that like weeping plants .

Weeping European Larch is a deciduous tree with a rounded form and gracefully weeping branches. The needle like foliage emerge light green  in the spring and turns  outstanding gold in the fall. It is so soft. Decorative 1″ cones form in the fall.

Best used as a accent in a garden composition, will definitely draw the eye to it

This is a relatively low maintenance tree, and usually looks its best without pruning. Deer don’t particularly care for this plant and will usually leave it alone.

Weeping European Larch will grow to be about 8 feet tall at maturity, with a spread of 8 feet. It has a low canopy, and is suitable for planting under power lines. It grows at a medium rate, and under ideal conditions can be expected to live for 50 years or more. I still have’t  seen a  fully grown weeping  Larch .

This tree should only be grown in full sunlight. It is quite adaptable, preferring to grow in average to wet conditions, and will even tolerate some standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH.
